Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Client

If you need to cancel your Review booking, please notify us in writing by emailing
laparsociety@mediaprima.audio.

Please note that the RM3,000 Review Fee is a non-refundable service fee. Once payment
has been made, cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.


Rescheduling

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.

At Lapar Society's sole discretion, you may be allowed one (1) rescheduling request, subject to:

  • availability of our Review Team;
  • the request being made before the scheduled review date; and
  • your business remaining eligible under our Terms & Conditions.

Additional rescheduling requests may be declined.

 

Failure to Attend or Prepare for the Review

The Review Fee will be forfeited if, on the scheduled review date:

  • your premises are closed;
  • access to the premises is denied;
  • your business is unable to operate normally;
  • key menu items are unavailable;
  • material information provided during registration is inaccurate or misleading; or
  • you fail to respond to our scheduling communications within fourteen (14) days after payment.

In these situations, Lapar Society may treat the Review as completed, and no refund, credit or replacement review will be provided.

 

Cancellation by Lapar Society

Lapar Society reserves the right to postpone or cancel a Review where necessary, including but not limited to:

  • operational requirements;
  • legal or regulatory concerns;
  • safety or security concerns;
  • force majeure events;
  • breach of our Terms & Conditions; or
  • any other circumstance that prevents the Review from being conducted appropriately.

Where appropriate, Lapar Society may, at its sole discretion, offer:

  • a refund;
  • a credit towards a future Review; or
  • an alternative arrangement.

The remedy offered, if any, will depend on the circumstances of each case.

 

Editorial Independence

Cancellation cannot be requested because:

  • you anticipate or receive an unfavourable review;
  • you disagree with our opinions, ratings or recommendations;
  • publication is delayed;
  • publication does not occur after the Review process has been completed; or
  • the Review does not achieve your desired marketing, engagement or commercial
    results.

Lapar Society is an independent editorial platform, and all reviews are produced with complete editorial independence.

 

The terms and conditions set out above are subject to the full Terms & Conditions available on the Lapar Society website. These terms shall be read together with the said Terms and Conditions, which shall be binding on the Parties.
