Refund Policy

At Lapar Society, the RM3,000 Review Fee is a service fee covering the planning, coordination, review visit, photography, videography, content creation, editing, administration, and editorial review process.

As these resources are committed once your booking is confirmed, all payments are generally non-refundable.

 

No Refunds Will Be Given If:

  • You decide to cancel your booking.
  • You change your mind after payment.
  • You are unhappy with the review outcome or rating.
  • You disagree with our opinions or recommendations.
  • Your review is delayed due to production scheduling or operational requirements.
  • Your review receives fewer views, engagement, enquiries or sales than expected.
  • You fail to respond to scheduling requests within the required timeframe.
  • Your business is closed, unavailable or unable to operate during the scheduled visit.
  • Access to your premises is denied or key menu items are unavailable during the review
    visit.
  • The review is not published due to editorial, legal, reputational or operational reasons after the review process has already been completed.

When a Refund May Be Considered

In exceptional circumstances, Lapar Society may, at its sole discretion, provide:

  • a full or partial refund;
  • a credit towards a future review; or
  • an alternative arrangement,

where Lapar Society cancels the review before the review process has commenced due to operational reasons, legal concerns, safety concerns, force majeure events or other
circumstances beyond the Client's control.

The form of remedy offered will be determined solely by Lapar Society.

 

Editorial Independence

The Review Fee does not purchase advertising, sponsorship or a positive review.
Payment does not guarantee:

  • publication;
  • favourable coverage;
  • audience reach;
  • engagement;
  • increased sales; or
  • any commercial outcome.

Our editorial opinions remain completely independent and cannot be influenced by payment.

 

The terms and conditions set out above are subject to the full Terms & Conditions available on the Lapar Society website. These terms shall be read together with the said Terms and Conditions, which shall be binding on the Parties.
